Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from America. After achieving fame through his roles on Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature films like The Core. Also, he has been on over 22 shows, including Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Within two years the cancer is now into the stage of remission. The treatment, however, at this early stage left severe impact on his body, and hindered his growth. Since he grew up in poverty, he wanted to be financially secure. Interviewer stated that as he had lived so sparingly for such a long time I was in need of financial stability to feel secure. He looks back on his childhood, and has a desire to take action against bullies. He is a victim of cruelty and is heartbreaking for him. DJ's ideal job is play a father figure in reel, as well as in real life. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. He'd like to be father one day so he can devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
